Nina Rupena is a Bosnian-born Australian artist based in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. Working across painting, illustration, installation, and collaborative public art projects, her practice explores memory, place, migration, and the connection between people and landscape.
Over the past two decades, she has worked with artists, designers, community organisations, and cultural institutions across Australia and internationally on exhibitions, site-specific works, film projects, and community-based art initiatives.
Her current studio practice focuses on painting with natural pigments, oil, and acrylic, inspired by the textures, colours, and changing landscape surrounding her rural property.
